One of the most important meals that anyone can have is breakfast - which is why high protein cereals are vital. We know that breakfast is often referred to as the most important meal of the day, and with good reason. Breakfast is what kick starts our metabolism and makes it less likely we will be picking at food throughout the day.
Unfortunately for us not just any old breakfast will do. It still needs to be healthy. The problem is that a lot of 'traditional' breakfasts are very unhealthy. Instead of giving us what we need to continue the day they are either laden with fat or with sugars and carbohydrates which will have us peaking and then crashing - and so reaching for a chocolate bar.

By balancing your carbohydrate and protein intake, as well as providing vital amino acids and nutrients, high protein cereals are able to give you prolonged energy throughout the morning, fighting off that sudden crash that leaves you desperate for another sugar high. And most of us have felt that at 11am!
Breakfast, like all meals, is about planning right, about balancing what you need with what you want. Now I can't tell you whether you will enjoy these cereals as I don't know what you prefer - but I can tell you they will help do your body good, that they will give you the energy to go on.
Why Protein?
Our body loves getting energy from protein - in fact it has a hard time turning protein into fat. Which makes it a perfect way of giving the old metabolism a quick kick without ladening your body down with foods that it will simply store rather than use, store via the means of body fat - and no one wants that!
Our bodies use a massive amount of protein every day. For example if you were to work out your muscles aren't actually getting larger - they are breaking down! The muscle fibres rip away from each other.
The body requires proteins that it is able to break down into amino acids and then combine together in the right order to replicate muscle tissue. This muscle protein is then inserted into the tears in the muscle, repairing it and so the muscle grows after the work out thanks to protein.
Obviously it is not just going to the gym and lifting weights that does that to our muscles, any effort, from standing up to walking down the shops, is doing that to some extent - so we need proteins in order to repair our every day damage to our muscles.
